How to Play Two Truths One Lie Online?

A classic icebreaker and party game for 3-20 players. Get to know each other through secrets — real and not so real.

Rules

1. Active player writes 3 statements

Each round one player is active. They write 3 statements about themselves — 2 truths and 1 lie. They choose which one is the lie.

2. Everyone votes

Other players see the 3 statements and vote which one they think is the lie. Votes cannot be changed once submitted.

3. Reveal

After voting, the active player reveals the lie. Everyone sees who guessed correctly and who was fooled.

Scoring

• +1 point for Guessers — for correctly identifying the lie
• +1 point for the Active player — for each person they fooled

If you fool everyone — you score maximum points for that round!

Rotation

Every player gets one turn as the active player. Once everyone has had their turn, the game ends and results are displayed.
